  • What are the compatibilities of the iKinesis application?
    iKinesis is compatible with Android (9.0+) and iOS (11.0+)
  • What are the minimum resources required to get the best performance from iKinesis?
    The Kapsule requires Android OS 9.0 or higher, iOS 11.0 or higher and a Bluetooth 5.0 compatible device. Otherwise, we cannot guarantee the proper operation of iKinesis.
  • Can I connect 2 Kapsules simultaneously to a phone?
    At present, it is not possible to connect 2 kapsules simultaneously. The iKinesis application consumes a lot of resources to calculate a runner's kinematics. However, we are currently developing an update that will enable 2 body segments to be analyzed at the same time. For example, the right and left lower limbs when running. The good news is that the Kapsules won't change. So you can order it today to perform a right-side analysis, then a left-side analysis to visualize symmetry.
  • I can't sync with the Kapsule. What to do?
    There are several reasons for this. 1. The first is that the application requires geolocation to be activated in order to connect to the Kapsule. So when you're on the synchronization screen, make sure you've activated your geolocation. 2. The Kapsule may be switched off or discharged. Check this by pressing button (K) for a few seconds. If the LED lights up and then goes out, the Kapsule is out of battery. If it stays on and flashes yellow, you've just switched it on.
  • The Kapsule is on, flashing green but is not connected to your application, what should I do?
    Sometimes the Kapsule flashes green but is not connected to your application. There are several possible scenarios: The Kapsule is connected to another phone. Simply disconnect it from the other device. You have connected the Kapsule via your phone's Bluetooth app. You'll need to delete it to leave it "free". Connection and synchronization will take place via the iKinesis application. The Kapsule has defaulted and thinks it's still connected. Press the button (K) on the Kapsule for a few seconds to switch it off, then switch it on again using the same procedure.
  • I can read KO on my Kapsule's battery information in the app, what does this mean?
    This means that your Kapsule is not connected to your device. If your Kapsule is switched on, check that your device's Bluetooth is also activated. If so, switch your Kapsule off and on again. If your problem is still not solved, you can try to synchronize your Kapsule again by deleting it first.
  • How to reset the Kapsule?
    If the firmware fails and the sensor cannot respond to any defined operation, a hardware reset function is required. Follow the steps below to reset the Kapsule: ‍ 1. Press and hold the power button for at least 11 seconds, then release it. ‍ 2. Switch the sensor back on by pressing the power button for 2 seconds.
  • My analysis is not compliant, why?
    There are several reasons for this: When you start a run, the application asks you which foot the Kapsule is installed on. If you don't select the right one, the application won't be able to properly analyze your stride. It is VERY IMPORTANT to select the right foot during calibration. It is important to check the direction in which the Kapsule is inserted in its holder. Some users reverse the direction. The support is shaped to fit the Kapsule. This means that the rounded part of the Kapsule must be inserted at the bottom of the holder. Once you've inserted the Kapsule into the holder, if you can't see the K and can't click the button, your Kapsule is upside down. It's important to keep your feet on the same axis during calibration. Don't go too fast, or the results will be altered.
  • The Kapsule turns on but I can't connect to it, what's happening?
    To operate correctly, the battery level must be sufficient. If the LED goes out (fades) immediately after being switched on, the battery level is too low. Please charge the battery using the cable supplied. If the LED is green, flashing every 2 seconds and you can't connect it to the application, the Kapsule may be paired with another phone. Close the iKinesis application on the other phones and restart the Kapsule.
  • What are the characteristics of the battery?
    The battery is a rechargeable LIR2032. Battery life is 6 hours in continuous use.
  • How much does the Kapsule weigh?
    The weight of the Kapsule (sensor + support) is 15g.
  • Is the Kapsule waterproof?
    Yes, the Kapsule is waterproof and dustproof. Its rating is IP 68. This means you can use it under 1m of water for 1 hour.
  • What do the LED colors mean?

  • I'm a new Lab and when I log in the wheel keeps spinning, what should I do?
    Some browsers are unable to load new Labs that do not have a synchronized runner. We invite you to download the application on your smartphone, and create an account. Once your account has been activated, go to Profile / Lab / choose your Lab. Return to the rotating Lab page and refresh it. You should see your "runner" account appear.
