Hamstring/quadriceps ratio: reading benchmarks

What it is

The hamstring/quadriceps ratio compares the strength of the knee flexors and extensors. It's a muscle-balance indicator, tracked notably around return to activity.

Reading the number

  • A ratio is read over time and against the contralateral side.
  • Left/right asymmetry is as telling as the absolute value.

Integrated measurement

With Kinvent integration, peak-force values flow automatically into the record: no double entry, and a usable history.
